Assam
The state of Assam became a constituent state of India in 1950. It is located in the northeastern region of India and is bordered by Bhutan, Bangladesh, and several Indian states, including Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, and West Bengal. Assam covers an area of 78,438 square kilometers and has a population of over 3.2 crore (2022 census).
Assam's economy is primarily agrarian, with tea being the major agricultural product and a key export. The state has a growing industrial sector with a focus on oil and natural gas, petrochemicals and handicrafts. Assam is also known for its tea, Muga silk and biodiversity. It is also becoming a popular destination for wildlife tourism.
Assam signed the Letter of Undertaking (LoU) with the Ministry of MSME, Government of India on 16th February 2022. It submitted its Strategic Investment Plan (SIP) on 26th December 2023 and RPC approved projects worth Rs. 89.66 Cr for Assam.

- Improving Access to Finance- Conducting Financial Capacity Building Workshops
- Access to Market-Awareness on E-commerce Platforms, National and International Trade Fairs Participation
