MSE-ODR Scheme

Introduction

Reducing the cases of delayed payments under the MSMED Act, 2006 is one of the key deliverables under the program. The Ministry of MSME is in the process of developing end-to-end online dispute resolution platform for resolution of disputes filed by Micro and Small Enterprises, being built on the principles of efficiency and speedy disposal of disputes which is a cornerstone of a robust and modern legal system. The scheme has an outlay of Rs 189 crore for a duration of three years.

Scheme Components:

• Development of MSME ODR Portal.
• Operations & Maintenance of MSME ODR Portal.
• Support to MSEFCs for ODR implementation.
• Financial Assistance for legal support.

Eligibility:

• MSEs registered on Udyam and UAP.

Expected Impact:

• 50,000 MSEs.
